Since he was a child he demonstrates an innate talent for painting that led him to study and experiment the art of the self-taught. In his works he’s inspired by Sicilian art and traditions, revisiting the popular basis of Sicily and the evolution of his decorations in combination with another great passion: the one for greyhounds.
The shape of the greyhounds becomes a real and actual recognition mark for the artist. The beauty of the harmonious silhouettes and the strong Sicilian tones in contrast make everything utopian but, at the same time, show the artist’s sensitivity towards abused animals.
This inclination leads him, in 2016, to participate at the collective exhibition “Levrieri in Arte”, and to collaborate with different associations that cherish such issue. He runs, for some years, a Sicilian handcraft shop in the heart of the city of Catania.
