Isabella Lippi was born in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, on August 18, 1972. In 1975, at the age of three, her family moved to Rosignano Solvay in Tuscany. This change profoundly influenced her artistic journey, immersing her in a new cultural and creative environment.

From an early age, Isabella demonstrated a natural inclination for drawing, starting to paint at the age of nine. From the very beginning, her preferred subject was animals, a theme that would become the central thread of her artistic career.

In 1981, her parents enrolled her in a drawing and painting course for adults, which she attended for about a year. The course was led by artist Daniel Schinasi, who immediately recognized Isabella’s extraordinary talent and passion, as well as her reluctance to draw static forms. To stimulate her creativity, Schinasi suggested she focus on animals, and Isabella chose the horse as her first subject. This animal became a fundamental inspiration for her future works, as she developed a deep fascination with its anatomy—a theme she would continue to explore with great passion.

In 1986, she began attending a teacher-training institute but never abandoned her passion for art. During her school years, she started collecting books on art and culture, deepening her knowledge of artistic techniques. Despite her academic commitments, she continued to draw constantly, strengthening her dedication to painting and fueling her artistic curiosity.

After finishing high school, she started associating with local painters such as Paolo Paoli and Gaspar O’ Melcher. These figures played a crucial role in her artistic journey, recognizing her talent and encouraging her to pursue a self-taught path, free from academic influences, and to embark on a personal and introspective artistic exploration. This advice led Isabella to develop a unique style, distant from traditional conventions, allowing her to refine her artistic language.

In 1991, she began working in the field of advertising graphics, a sector where freehand drawing was still essential. However, she did not find herself passionate about the rise of computerized graphics and decided to take a break to further explore her artistic path.

She returned to Neuchâtel for a few months, where she attended the atelier of Antonio Cornella, a contemporary painter who passed away in the early 2000s. During this period, she began studying human anatomy from live models, who were classical and contemporary dancers. Her newfound passion for the human form led her to transfer her observations into her first oil paintings, depicting dynamic and dreamlike dances. She also experimented with engraving on Forex, a material that allowed her to explore new textures and dimensions in her art while emphasizing anatomical lines.

Upon returning to Italy, she established a small atelier where she spent entire days immersed in color. This space became the heart of her artistic activity, where she freely explored and developed her art. She began participating in collective exhibitions and organizing personal shows.

In 2005, after experiencing a prolonged creative block following the loss of her father—who was her first supporter and source of encouragement—Isabella developed a passion for working with wood. She started dedicating herself to mosaics, transferring glass and mirrors onto wooden shapes she crafted herself, transforming them into decorative mirrors and ethnic animal figures. She later worked for several companies specializing in painted decorations for walls and wood.

In 2021, ArtemIsa Isabella Lippi was born—a workshop located in Vada, just a few steps from the sea. Here, she dedicated herself to furniture restoration, restyling, painting, and wooden art. It was in this workshop that her first handcrafted wooden greyhounds were created, painted entirely by hand. This project emerged almost by chance, as if destiny had materialized, bringing her to this breed, whose elegance and anatomical power rival the beauty of horses in art.

The creative approach of ArtemIsa Isabella Lippi is based on intuition. Her works are born spontaneously, transforming ideas into figures that oscillate between stylization and realism. This fusion of thought and material gives life to creations that are not only artworks but also illuminating decorative pieces that bring a special energy to those who observe them. Sinuous lines and elegance become elements that not only adorn spaces but also enrich them with a deeper meaning, bringing her works to life.

Her greyhound-themed artworks, whether paintings on canvas or personalized wooden sculptures, go far beyond mere visual representation of the animal. In these pieces, artist ArtemIsa Isabella Lippi captures the soul and character of the greyhound, expressing not only its physical beauty but also its profound essence. A personalized piece depicting these greyhounds becomes an immortal tribute to their elegance and, at the same time, an indelible memory of their presence. Each creation is a unique and special homage that celebrates the connection between the artist, the animal, and its emotional significance.

Particularly, the painting of the eyes and the essence of the gaze are fundamental aspects of each of her works. This journey allows emotions and expressions to be reflected in the eyes of her subjects, making them the focal point and the beating heart of her art. ArtemIsa Isabella Lippi believes that a gaze has the power to communicate more than a thousand words, and through it, she seeks to create a deep connection between her artistic vision and the observer. For her, the moment a creation reaches the heart of the viewer is everything.

The logo “ArtemIsa Isabella Lippi,” which the artist has registered, is crowned with the profile of a greyhound’s head. It serves as a powerful representation of the artist and her vision. The greyhound, a symbol of elegance and speed, perfectly evokes a sense of refinement and dynamism, aligning seamlessly with her artistic approach. Registering the profile of this dog as part of her logo also demonstrates a deep commitment to protecting her artistic identity, further solidifying the brand as a distinctive mark of her work.
